Bedruthan StepsBedruthan Steps is a magnificent streach of coast just north of Newquay. It has a number of free standing stacks, some of which have holes in them. This picture was taken from a viewing point above the beach looking north. |
Wall detailAlong the cliff paths are dry stone walls covered in wild flowers. |

The master...Joe Cornish was an excellent host for the weekend. He had reasearched the area and took us to the appropriate points at just the right times to get the best results. The weather was poor (bright and hazy) but Joe punctuated the day with impromptu sessions on topics such as hyperfocal focusing and its limitations, the use of filters etc. I learnt a great deal on this weekend and could not reccomend it enough to anyone who has an interrest in landscape photography. As for Joe's photography, well I was stunned by a series of 20x24 prints which he showed us on the last day. So much so, I had to buy one! Joe had an assistant on the day, Phil (can't remember his surname) who provided some excellent complimentary help and advice during the weekend. Check out my links page for Light & Landand get the on to one of their weekend courses! |
